Hart 4 Autism Offering New Payment Methods for ADOS-2 Testing

For the past five years, Hart 4 Autism ADOS-2 testing has been a self-pay only service. However, Dr. Kerri recognizes this can be a challenge for most families. To help combat this hurdle, she has put through efforts to find resources that will offer alternative options for families in need of comprehensive diagnostic evaluations like ADOS testing. 

Currently, Hart 4 Autism is in the process of becoming credentialed through Sunshine Health. Once approved, additional forms of Medicaid may be added in the future. The process can be lengthy, but news of acceptance will be shared as soon as possible. 

Another newly available option is the ability for parents to use their Health Savings Account (HSA) card to pay for testing. All forms are completed online through the Simple Practice platform Hart 4 Autism has recently adopted, making the process more streamlined for all. 

If your family is a recipient of a Step Up Unique Abilities Scholarship, you are able to send in your Hart 4 Autism testing invoice for reimbursement. 

While these solutions do not address every family’s unique needs, it’s a step in the direction Dr. Kerri and Hart 4 Autism want to go to ensure as many families as possible can be assessed and diagnosed with autism in order to access much needed services. 

While other agencies exist that accept all forms of insurance for diagnostic testing, waitlists are sometimes as long as 18 months. Hart 4 Autism can provide assessments from credentialed, experienced ADOS-2 examiners generally within ten days of request.
